Slide the gold bead onto the hook, wide slot forward, and seat it behind the eye.
Start thread behind the bead and lay a smooth thread base back to the 60% mark, then return to just behind the bead.
Snip a single corn-yellow mop finger and bind its cut end at the 60% mark so the fat rounded tip sweeps past the bend one shank length. Keep it on top of the shank.
Wrap forward over the mop butt with tight touching turns to lock it flat, stopping short of the bead.
Dub a sparse tan collar between the mop and the bead using half the dubbing you think you need, so the profile stays buggy not bulky.
Whip finish tight against the bead and add a drop of head cement.
