How to tie it
Lay a thread base along the hook shank.
Fold and cut a small bunch of grey MicroLon in half, blend in about five strands of silver Polar Flashabou, taper the tips, and tie it in 60/40 as a short tail, spreading the fibres around the shank.
Bring the thread up near the eye and form a waxed dubbing loop.
Cut three lengths of MicroLon in slightly graduated lengths (about 3 in, shorter, shorter) plus roughly eight strands of Polar Flash cut to match; taper and blend them all on the bench so there are no straight edges.
Load the blended MicroLon/Polar Flash into the dubbing loop 60/40, spread evenly with no clumps, then spin the loop into a brush and pick out any tangled fibres.
Sweep the brush back and wrap it forward over the tail bump to the eye in tight touching turns, distributing material around the shank to form the teardrop baitfish body.
Tie off, sweep all fibres back, whip finish, and comb the loop out; trim to a clean minnow profile if needed.
Colour the back with black marker and add an orange hot-spot on the belly, working it into the fibres.
Glue a 6mm Volcano eye to each side, then coat the head with UV resin and cure.
