  • Hook Standard dry fly, 2x long, 12-18
  • Thread Olive 8/0

Materials

  • Shuck Amber Z-Lon (trailing)
  • Body Olive dubbing (rough)
  • Wing Deer hair (tent-style)
  • Hackle Brown hackle (clipped on bottom)
  • Legs Centipede legs or Sili legs (2 pairs)

How to tie it

  1. Mount hook, tie in Z-Lon shuck
  2. Dub rough body
  3. Tie in hackle, wrap forward, clip bottom flat
  4. Tie in deer hair wing
  5. Add rubber legs
  6. Whip finish
