  • Hook streamer shank plus trailing hook, 4-8
  • Thread brown 6/0

Materials

  • Articulation wire or heavy mono Clear articulation wire or heavy mono (1 loop)
  • Rabbit strip (zonker) Natural/barred tan cross cut rabbit (2 strips)
  • Cross-cut rabbit Natural/barred tan cross cut rabbit (1 strip)
  • Krystal Flash Copper flashabou (few strands)

How to tie it

  1. On the rear hook tie in a barred tan rabbit-strip tail one to two shank lengths long plus a few copper flash strands, then palmer a short cross-cut collar and whip off.
  2. Join the rear hook to the front shank with a doubled loop of wire or heavy mono, leaving a short hinge gap.
  3. Lock the wire loop to the front shank and tie in a second barred rabbit strip over the top back to the rear collar.
  4. Palmer cross-cut rabbit forward to a full body, sweeping fibers rearward each turn.
  5. Form a neat head, whip finish, and cement.
