Tail Pardo Coq de Leon fibers (4-6 fibers)
Body Stripped peacock quill (or Polish/Coq quill), natural or dyed brown, for natural segmentation (1 quill)

How to tie it
Slide the bead to the eye, start the thread and cover the shank.
Tie in 4-6 pardo Coq de Leon fibers as a tail about half a shank long. Optionally add a couple of strands of pearl micro-flashabou at the tail base for a butt hot-spot.
Tie in a stripped, water-soaked quill by its thin end at the bend; wrap it forward in touching turns so the natural light/dark segmentation shows, and tie off behind the bead.
Optionally counter-wrap fine copper wire in 4-5 open turns to protect the fragile quill.
Whip finish, then coat the body in thin UV resin and cure for a glossy, segmented, slim nymph.
