Materials
Lead eyes Large lead dumbbell eyes (front hook) for jig action (1 pair)
Rear body Metallic Ice Dub (Copper, Gold or Holo Silver), brushed (as needed)
Tail Marabou (matching) with a few strands of matching flash (1 plume)
Articulation Intruder/backing wire threaded through 1-2 beads on the front shank (1 loop)
Front collar Marabou (matching) (1 plume)
Head Bruiser Blend dubbing (matching), spun in a loop and brushed out to push water (as needed)
How to tie it
Rear hook: tie in a marabou tail with a few strands of flash at the bend, then dub/brush a body of metallic Ice Dub forward and tie off. This all-synthetic rear shimmies.
Connect the rear hook to the front hook with a loop of intruder/backing wire threaded through a couple of beads on the front shank; lash it down.
Front hook: tie the large lead dumbbell eyes on top (this gives the jig, up-and-down action).
Behind the eyes wrap a marabou collar so it flares back over the joint.
Spin metallic Ice Dub and then Bruiser Blend dubbing in a dubbing loop, wrap it as a head around/behind the eyes, and brush it out so it pushes water.
Whip finish at the eye and brush the head and collar back.
