Slide the Large Copper Conehead onto the Daiichi 4660 Jig hook. Start the Rust UTC 140 thread and tie in the Brassie Copper Wire along the side of the shank, then the Holographic Diamond Braid the same way.
Wrap the Diamond Braid forward to build a slightly tapered body and capture it, leaving a little less than a cone's width of bare shank behind the cone.
Measure a Zonker Strip about three shank lengths long, so the tail runs about twice the shank behind the bend. Pierce the hide with the hook point at the tail mark and slide it up to the body. Invert the hook, part the fur, take a loose wrap then a couple more, trim the excess hide and lock it with tight wraps.
Pull the fur forward and wrap the wire through the rabbit to the front, drawing fibres up with your fingers so none are trapped. Bind the wire down tight and spiral it off.
Take two strands of Crazy Legs, tie them in at their centre on one side, then carry the other half to the far side. Trim so they reach a little more than halfway back to the tail.
Tie one clump of Marabou on the underside, reaching a little past the bend, and trim. Turn the hook upright and tie a second clump on top, same length; trim.
Tie in about six strands of Copper Flashabou at their midpoint on one side with a loose wrap, draw the other half round to the far side, then sweep everything back and wrap so it lies back.
Push the cone back as far as it goes and jump the thread in front of it. Build a thread head covering the cone's hole so it cannot slide forward. Trim the flash to about the length of the marabou collar or slightly shorter. Whip finish and brush ZAP A GAP over the wraps in front of the cone.
