How to tie it
Put a 4mm white bead on a dressmaker pin backwards, so the countersunk hole faces the pin head. If the bead is loose, set the pin in the vise, build a small thread dam right behind the pin head to lock the bead, whip finish and remove.
Seat the XS506 #6 jig hook and lay a thread base.
Cut off about the back third of the pin, lay the pin-and-bead assembly on top of the shank and position it so the gap between the hook's jig bend and the back of the bead (pushed forward) is about two bead widths; tie it down dead-center on top and wrap it very tight.
Advance to the pin and build a thread dam front and back right behind the bead to lock it forward, the countersunk hole seating over the pin head; cover the pin with thread and add super glue.
Tie in a white marabou tail at the bend along with a few strands of pearl midge flash.
Wrap small pearl Palmer chenille forward to behind the eye for the body and tie off.
Glue on pearl 3D eyes with super glue, coat the head and eyes with UV resin and whip finish.
