2mm foam (overbody/back) Brown thin foam (1 strip)
Cross-cut rabbit zonker (body) Natural pine squirrel strip (1 strip)
How to tie it
Start thread at the bend of the B10S hook.
Tie in a micro rabbit zonker strip as a tail extending about one shank length; a drop of glue at the base keeps it from pulling out.
Tie in a strip of brown 2mm foam at the bend pointing back over the tail, this becomes the back and floats the fly like a cork.
Tie in cross-cut natural rabbit by the hide and palmer it forward in touching turns to the eye, stroking the fibers back each wrap for a breathing underbody.
Pull the foam strip forward over the rabbit to form the mouse's back and head, binding it down behind the eye.
Leave a short foam tab over the eye as a blunt nose, whip finish, and cement.
