How to tie it
Tie in two or three bronze peacock herls (and the fine twist rib if used) at the rear.
Twist the herls into a rope and wind a plump body forward; counter-wind the twist rib to protect the fragile herl.
Wind a coch-y-bonddu (furnace) cock hackle either palmered over the whole body or as a dense front collar, the red-with-black-roots-and-tips hackle over peacock is the whole identity of the fly.
