Hackle barbs (tail) Grizzly, or to match the hackle (8-10 barbs)
Synthetic dubbing (Hareline Hare-Tron or any Antron-type) Pink (any color) synthetic dubbing (A 2.5-3 inch noodle)

How to tie it
Mount the hook, start black 70-denier thread behind the eye and lay a smooth thread base back to the start of the bend.
Strip 8-10 barbs from a grizzly hackle, measure them one shank-length long (a hair longer is fine), and tie them in on top at the bend; bind the butts forward and trim.
Wax the thread and spin on a thin 2.5-3 inch noodle of pink synthetic dubbing. This is a small body, so keep it sparse.
Wrap the dubbing forward from the bend to about the 75% point, then take a couple of extra turns to tighten and clean up any loose fuzz.
Select a grizzly dry fly hackle sized to the hook, strip a bare stem, and tie it in at the front of the body with the stem left lying forward; bind the stem down and take the thread back a hair to leave room for four full wraps.
Wrap the hackle forward in four touching turns to just behind the eye, tie it off with two or three tight wraps and snip the tip.
Stroke all the hackle back, build a small head, and finish with a zigzag whip finish that dodges the barbs.
Trim any trapped fibers, thin the hackle if it is too dense, and tidy the body. The fly is done.
