Start Olive UTC 140 thread on the Tiemco 5263. Tie in the Medium Yellow Painted Lead Eyes about one hook-eye length behind the eye with X-wraps; a drop of super glue under them stops them rolling.
Build a thread base back to the bend. Tie in a tail of Olive Marabou about the length of the straight shank with several tight wraps, trim the excess and lock it with a few tight wraps.
Tie three strands of Pearl Krystal Flash in by their middle, fold the front half back along the other side, and trim the flash a hair longer than the marabou tail.
Tie in the Grizzly Olive Marabou Soft Hackle at the rear by the marabou plume at its base. Palmer it forward, stroking the fibers back with each turn, capture the tip and trim it, then continue with more feathers of the same material until you reach the eyes.
Take a few wraps back onto the body to leave a little room behind the eyes. Tie in Olive Barred Crazy Legs by the middle of the clump on the near side, take the other half of the clump to the far side, draw the legs together and trim them about the length of the fly.
Strip the fluff from the Red Schlappen and tie it in by the tip. Wrap a collar with the fibers sweeping rearward, capture the tip and trim it. Spread the fibers evenly around the fly, draw them back and lay wraps forcing them rearward; free any trapped fibers with a bodkin.
Form a dubbing loop and take the thread up to the eye. Mix Olive Ice Dubbing with a little pearl, load it sparsely into the loop, spin it into a rope and wrap: one turn behind the collar, then around the eyes to cover the thread wraps, capture and trim the excess.
Whip finish. Trim stray Ice Dub around the eyes, then brush the head out so a few straggly fibers blend the head into the body and draw them back.
