Slotted tungsten bead Gold or silver slotted tungsten bead (1, sized to hook)

UV resin Clear uv resin (thin coat)
Colored resin or marker (hot spot, optional) Red or orange colored resin marker (small dot)
How to tie it
Seat the slotted tungsten bead on the jig hook, slot forward, and start thread behind it.
Tie in a short sparse tail of Coq de Leon fibers, no longer than half a shank, splayed slightly.
Twist a whisper of Lite Brite into a thin noodle and wrap a slim tapered body from the tail to just behind the bead, perdigons live or die on being skinny, so use half the dubbing you think.
Add a small hot-spot collar of colored thread behind the bead if desired.
Coat the whole body and collar with a thin layer of UV resin and cure it hard so the fly sinks fast and shines.
