Lay a thread base along the shank from the eye to the bend.
Tie in a tan craft-fur tail at the bend about one-and-a-half shank-lengths long, cleaning out the underfur first.
Add gold and pearl Polar Flash and a few strands of blue-glow Flashabou over the tail for the lateral flash.
Working forward, tie in and reverse-stack successive collars of tan craft fur top and bottom, folding each back and packing it to build a deep pinfish body profile.
Blend more gold/pearl Polar Flash into the upper collars for the back and flank sparkle.
Build a neat tapered thread head and whip finish.
Bar the back with a brown permanent marker and dust the body with gold eye shadow to give the pinfish sheen.
Glue a 1/4 in Jurassic eye to each side of the head, then coat the head with epoxy (or Zap gel/UV) and cure.
