Materials

  • Body 2mm X 2mm Black Foam, Wrapped
  • Legs Whiting Hackle, Grizzly Variant
  • Wing Nature’s Spirit Select Cow Elk, Natural

How to tie it

  1. Start thread and tie in a thin foam strip at the bend.
  2. Dub a slim body forward to the thorax.
  3. Tie in a deer-hair down-wing over the body, tips to the bend.
  4. Pull the foam forward over the wing butts to form a caddis wing case and tie down behind the eye.
  5. Trim the foam to a short head and whip finish.
