CK Baitfish tail (ultrasuede) Tan carapace (1, tail)
CCT Body Fur brush Tan carapace (body)
Super glue - (as needed)
How to tie it
Optional: lay a band of lead-free wire along the shank and bind it for a touch of weight and a level swim.
Start thread at the bend. Bind the CK Baitfish ultrasuede tail flat on top of the shank so it trails one to one-and-a-half shanks; saturate the wrap with super glue for indestructibility.
Tie in the tip of a CCT Body Fur brush at the tail.
Wrap the body-fur brush forward in touching turns to just behind the eye, stroking the fibers back after each wrap so they lie down and taper.
Tie off, whip finish, and build a small thread head.
Sweep all the fibers back and trim the body fur to a tapered baitfish profile (fuller at the head, sparse at the tail) then cement the head.
