Start the cream thread behind the eye and run a smooth base to the bend.
Dub a slim, fuzzy caddis-tan body forward from the bend to about the 70% point.
Clean and stack a clump of natural cream snowshoe rabbit foot hair and tie it in as a low, tent-style downwing over the body, tips reaching to about the hook bend; trim the butts. (Snowshoe hare floats high and needs no floatant.)
Tie in a cream rooster hackle in front of the wing.
Wrap the cream hackle 4-6 turns through the front third of the fly and tie off behind the eye.
Build a small thread head, whip finish and cement. Optionally trim the hackle flat underneath so the fly sits flush in the film.
