Mount the curved hook, start thread at the 70% mark.
Tie in a generous poly yarn post and stand it upright with a thread dam, then wrap up the post base 8-10 turns.
Dub a slender body from well down the curved bend up to the post, the deep body on the curve is the abdomen that will hang below the film.
Tie in a grizzly hackle at the post base, shiny side up.
Twist 2-3 peacock herls and wrap the thorax around the post base.
Wrap the hackle parachute-style around the post, 4-5 turns, each below the last. Tie off beneath the hackle.
Whip finish. On the water, the abdomen hangs down through the film while the post and hackle float above. Check the sit in a glass of water.

Body instead of Dubbing to match hatch: Olive Superfine — BWO emerger; Tan Superfine — Caddis emerger; Gray Superfine — General mayfly
