How to tie it
Smash the barb and slide two 1.5mm tungsten beads on, the rear bead reversed (large opening to the back); start light-brown thread and lock the beads, leaving a little space behind for the legs.
Add a few wraps of red thread at the very front as a hot spot, whip finish, then restart the thread behind the rear bead.
Tie in about a dozen Coq de Leon fibers for the tail out the back, kicking them up slightly with thread wraps.
Tie in Juan's Slim Rib at the bend.
Untwist the thread so it lies flat and wrap a slim brown body forward, taking extra wraps in front so the beads cannot slide.
Counter-wrap the slim rib forward in evenly spaced turns and tie it off.
Tie in medium brown holographic tinsel for the wing case behind the front bead.
Tie in floro fibre legs and split six per side.
Pull the holographic tinsel over as a wing case, secure it and whip finish.
Mark the wing case with brown marker, coat it with UV resin and cure, then trim the legs to length.
