- Hook Jig hook (Fulling Mill Jig Force Short) or 210BL, 20
- Thread Black UTC 70 denier
Materials
- Slotted tungsten bead Metallic purple, 7/64 slotted tungsten bead (1)
- Coq de Leon Grizzly pardo (4-5 fibers (tail))
- Flex-Floss Purple flex floss (1 length (body and rib))
- Ice Dub UV Light Gray ice dub (Small pinch (collar))
How to tie it
- Slide the purple bead on, start the black thread behind it and seat the bead with a few wraps.
- Run the thread down to the barb point and tie in four to five grizzly-pardo fibers for the tail, sized to the shank.
- Trim the excess and tie in purple flex-floss behind the bead; stretch it thin and wrap it down the shank for a slim body.
- Wrap the flex-floss back forward in open overhand turns to rib and segment the body, then tie it off and trim.
- Dub a small pinch of UV light-gray ice dub and wrap a collar behind the bead.
- Whip finish and trim.
