Round rubber legs Barred brown/black rubber legs (3 pairs)
How to tie it
Seat the slotted bead at the eye and start thread behind it, base-wrapping to the bend.
Tie in a pair of rubber legs at the bend splayed as tails, one shank long.
Tie in the variegated chenille and wrap a smooth body forward to the 40% mark, then tie in the first pair of side legs (one each side) and continue chenille forward one segment.
Add the second pair of side legs, wrap another chenille segment, then add the front pair of legs and wrap the chenille up to just behind the bead.
Tie off the chenille, then trim the front legs forward and the rest to length. Tails about a shank, side and front legs a bit shorter.
Whip finish behind the bead and add a drop of cement.
