How to tie it
Seat the silver slotted bead at the eye and start thread behind it.
Tie in a short white bird-fur or marabou tail just past the bend, roughly one and a half shanks long, sparse so it pulses.
Dub a thin mother-of-pearl Ripple Ice Dub body forward to just behind the bead as a flashy underbody.
Spin a pinch of olive/bluegill Bruiser Blend into a loose noodle and make the back (top) of the head; invert the fly and add orange-cream Bruiser Blend for the belly so it shows a dark back and warm bluegill belly.
Brush the head fibers back with a dubbing brush and sweep them into a baitfish taper, then figure-8 or glue the pearl eyes onto the sides of the head.
Whip finish behind the bead, then coat the head and eyes with a thin layer of UV resin and cure to lock everything in.
