How to tie it
Start the crimson thread at the bend and leave a couple of visible turns. The natural jenny spinner has a red-brown tip to its abdomen, so let the silk show.
Tie in three pale fibers as tails, a full shank length, spread wide.
Wrap a slim white floss or stripped quill body over two-thirds of the shank, leaving the crimson thread showing at both ends.
Expose a few turns of crimson at the thorax too, the white body with red ends is the whole point of the fly.
Wind a pale blue dun hackle 3-4 turns and whip finish with a tiny head.
