How to tie it
Start white thread and lay a base to the bend.
Tie in a clump of white marabou at the bend extending about one and a half shank lengths to form the tail and translucent belly base.
Add a few strands of pearl flash along the white, then a short clump of orange marabou low on the belly for the brook-trout underside.
Build the body forward in two or three stacked clumps of white marabou, binding each down and stroking it back so the profile stays slim to the 75% mark.
Tie in a clump of dark olive marabou over the top for the back, matching the tail length, so the fly shows a green over orange-over-white baitfish.
Add a small clump of red marabou at the throat for gills.
Build a smooth thread head and whip finish.
Press an adhesive eye to each side of the head and coat the head and eyes with clear resin.
