Materials

  • Bead Gold or silver slotted tungsten bead (tungsten, sized to hook)
  • Tail Brown permanent marker (2 goose biots)
  • Body Peacock ice dub (peacock Ice Dub)
  • Rib Gold middle (fine flat tinsel)
  • Wings White uni stretch (2 goose biots)
  • Collar Peacock ice dub (Ice Dub)

How to tie it

  1. Slide the bead on and start thread behind it, running a base to the point above the barb.
  2. Tie in two brown goose biots as a split tail about one hook-gap long.
  3. Tie in the tinsel rib, dub a peacock Ice Dub body forward, then counter-rib with the tinsel and tie off.
  4. Tie two white goose biots flat over the back in a shallow V as wings.
  5. Dub a short peacock Ice Dub collar behind the bead.
  6. Whip finish behind the bead.
