Slide a silver bead onto a 1XL nymph hook. Add about six wraps of.015 lead wire behind the bead to add weight and hold the bead, and build a small thread dam behind the lead.
Take black thread back to the bend, wax it, and dub a body of peacock Ice Dub, working all the way forward to just behind the bead (about a 3-inch dubbing noodle).
Lay two white goose biots on top of the hook at roughly a 30-degree split, pinch and take a couple of wraps, adjust the position, then lock down with tight wraps as a split wing behind the bead.
Trim the biot butts, cover the nubs with thread to fill the gap behind the bead, and whip finish. Add a drop of head cement on top of the bead.
