Lay a thread base and lash the yellow dumbbell eyes on the underside a little more than an eye-length behind the front of the hook with crisscross wraps, then lock them with UV resin.
Wrap to the bend and tie in a roughly 4-inch brown barred (ginger) rabbit strip for the tail, stroking the fibers forward at the tie-in point.
Tie in pearl core braid in front of the rabbit and wrap it forward to just behind the eyes for a flashy body, then tie off.
Invert the fly and tie a stacked clump of pearl ice dub as the underbelly behind the eyes, then a clump of orange ice dub on top of it.
Stroke the belly fibers back, pull the rabbit strip forward over the top and tie it down tightly just behind the eyes, then trim the excess.
Tie a dozen strands of copper flashabou over the rabbit, slightly longer than the strip.
Build a neat head, whip finish and finish with UV resin.
