Prepare the size 12 Hanak H450 BL in advance: slide on the 4.6mm Tungsten Bead, add a spot of super glue, and seat the Java Body, Tungsten size medium behind it.
Wax the UTC Black 70d thread and start it just behind the bead. Using the thread's tag for purchase, bind the Java Body down onto the shank so it cannot pop off, then snip the tag.
Brush a very thin coat of super glue over the Java Body and criss-cross thread over it until it is fully covered. The glue bedding the thread is what stops the slippery body shifting later.
Snip a point on the end of the Troutline Flashback 4mm Red/Brown strip, catch it in at the rear of the shank and bind it down to the bend, then bring the thread back up onto the Java Body.
Catch in the Veniard No27 Medium Silver wire at the rear.
Dub Troutline Mad Rabbit Plus (Black Pepper) onto the thread and wrap the body forward, filling the gap where the Java Body meets the slotted bead.
Comb a few fibres back with a dubbing brush, bring the Flashback over the top as a shellback, take a couple of turns over it, fold the excess back, take a couple of turns in front, and snip.
Rib the silver wire forward in evenly spaced open turns over the shellback, pushing and pulling the foil with your fingers if it needs encouragement to stay on the back. Bind off with a couple of turns at the front, keep tension, and work the wire away.
Flatten the thread with a needle, split it, insert a small pinch of Prism SLF Dubbing, and spin the bobbin to trap the fibres. Wrap the collar, sweeping the fibres back with each turn, and pull out any long strays.
Put a little UV resin on the thread, whip finish, snip the thread, and cure with the UV light.
