Tungsten or brass bead (or bead-chain eyes) Silver bead chain eyes medium (1, sized to hook)
Marabou plume (tail) White marabou (1 plume)
Flash (tail) Pearl/silver flashabou (4-6 strands)
Holographic fritz / cactus chenille (body) Silver flashabou (1 length)
Cock or grizzle hackle (palmer) White/grizzle (1 feather)
Dubbing or thread hotspot (collar) Chartreuse ice dub (pinch)
How to tie it
Slide the bead to the eye, start the thread behind it and lay a smooth thread base back to the bend.
Tie in a plume of white marabou at the bend for the tail, one to one-and-a-half shank lengths long, and add 4-6 strands of pearl/silver flash the same length.
At the tail tie in a hackle by its tip and a length of silver holographic fritz.
Wrap the fritz forward in touching turns to just behind the bead and tie off.
Palmer the hackle forward through the body in 5-6 open, evenly spaced turns; secure behind the bead and snip the surplus.
Dub or wrap a small chartreuse hotspot collar behind the bead, then whip finish and add a drop of head cement.
