Slide the medium Nymph Head tungsten bead onto the size 12 Kona curved nymph hook and seat it at the eye.
Tie in a narrow strip of black UV Chewee Skin at the rear of the shank.
Tie in a length of medium chartreuse Ultra Wire at the same point.
Make six touching turns of Ultra Wire forward, fold the UV Chewee Skin over the top of those turns, and bind it down with one more turn of wire. Fold the Chewee Skin back, make the next set of wire turns, and repeat forward along the abdomen so the skin forms a segmented shell over the wire. Bind the wire off.
Tie in a Hungarian Partridge feather by the tip and palmer it as a collar. Bind off and snip the stem.
Tie in three short strands of Polar Flash on top as a wing.
Dub a collar of Senyo's Fusion Dub (midnight) behind the bead to finish the head.
Comb the dubbing out and break off any strands that are too long.
