- Hook Standard nymph/wet hook, 14-18
- Thread Black 8/0
Materials
- Bead Gold or copper (metallic) bead (One, sized to hook)
- Body Chartreuse, red or green Ultra Wire (One length (small))
- Thorax Peacock or hare's ear dubbing (A small pinch)
- Hackle Hungarian partridge (One feather)
How to tie it
- Slide the bead to the eye and start the thread behind it.
- Tie in the colored wire at the bend and wrap it forward in touching turns to the 75% mark for a bright segmented body; tie off and break the tag.
- Dub a short thorax of peacock or dark dubbing behind the bead.
- Tie in a partridge feather by the tip and take 2 turns of soft hackle, sweeping the fibers back.
- Whip finish behind the bead and cement.
