Start a 6/0 thread matching the body color on the TMC 100 and lay a base along the shank.
Cut the Rainy's Hi-viz ant body to length for the hook; the bodies come long enough for a size 10, so trim the rear to suit smaller sizes.
Measure the body so the head sits just behind the eye and bind it at the waist with two or three wraps, then wrap back and forward over the waist again to lock it.
Clear a flat thread spot at the waist for the legs. Trim a length of centipede legs, bind them across the waist with two wraps, position one leg out each side, then take two or three more wraps, adding a few in front to help splay them.
Pull everything back, bring the thread forward, and touch a little super glue onto the thread wraps, keeping it off the rubber legs, then take a wrap or two more.
Whip finish at the waist, or carry the thread to the front of the head and whip finish there.
Trim the legs to length. Optionally coat the rear and front wraps with thin head cement.
