How to tie it
Start the thread on a 2X-long size 8 hook and tie in a long marabou tail (about one-plus shank length), breaking the butts thin with your thumbnail.
Tie in a brown hen saddle hackle by the tip at the tail.
Make a sparse dubbing loop of Voodoo streamer dub, twist and lightly brush it out, then wrap it forward to form the body; whip finish to lock.
Palmer the hen hackle forward in evenly spaced turns to just behind the eye and tie off (counter-wrap fine wire through the hackle for durability if desired).
Pull everything back, build a small head, break off the hackle tip, whip finish and brush the fibers back.
