How to tie it
Start thread at the 70% mark and lay a thin base back to the bend.
Tie in a small bunch of dun Microfibetts, then figure-8 a tiny ball of dubbing at their base to flare them into two V-splayed tails, one shank long.
Tie in a pale yellow biot by the tip at the bend, notched edge set so the wound biot shows a fine raised rib.
Wind the biot forward in touching turns to the 65% mark for a segmented abdomen and tie off.
Stack two CDC feathers tip-to-tip, measure one shank length, and bind them upright as a single clumped wing; take a couple of turns around the base to stand it up.
Dub a slim thorax of pale yellow superfine around and in front of the wing, figure-8ing to seat it.
