How to tie it

- Dub a band of peacock ice dub forward over the rear half of the shank.
- Pull the foam forward over the ice dub and bind it down at the 70% mark to form the beetle shell.
- Tie in a pair of black rubber legs at that tie-down point, one to each side.
- Bind a short tuft of pink McFlylon on top as a high-visibility indicator.
- Whip finish under the foam and clip.
- Trim the front foam to a stub over the eye and the legs to length.
