Materials

  • Body rear Salmon pink body rear (blob fritz)
  • Body front Sunburst yellow (blob fritz)

How to tie it

  1. Mount the hook and lay a thread base along the shank.
  2. Tie in a length of salmon pink blob fritz at the bend.
  3. Wrap the pink fritz forward in touching turns over the rear two thirds, stroking the fibers back with each turn.
  4. Tie off the pink and tie in sunburst yellow blob fritz.
  5. Wrap the yellow fritz forward over the front third to the eye.
  6. Tie off, build a small head, and whip finish.
  7. Stroke and pick the fibers out into a full round ball so the fly is a dense, fuzzy blob.
