Mount the hook and start waxed tying thread about one eye-length behind the eye; wind smooth touching turns down the shank to the bend.
Tie in the ribbing (Silver or none) at the bend and let it hang for later.
Counter-wrap the rib forward in four or five evenly spaced open turns over the body; tie off and trim or helicopter the end.
Prepare a Grizzly hackle by stripping the soft web from the base; tie it in at the front of the body shiny-side forward and wind four or five close turns; tie off and trim the tip.
Build a small, neat thread head to cover the wing and hackle butts, whip finish, and lacquer the head.
