Cut a narrow olive foam strip, bind it in at the bend, and segment the rear extension with 4-5 open thread wraps to form a foam extended body one shank length long.
Split three moose fibers off the tip of the extension as tails, then return the thread to the 65% mark.
Stand a poly-yarn post upright at the 65% mark and post the thread base up around it.
Tie in a grizzly-dyed-olive hackle at the post base and dub a slim olive thorax around it.
Wind the hackle parachute-style down the post in 4-5 turns and lock it off against the thread.
Whip finish behind the eye and trim the post to about one gap tall.
