Lay a green Perdigon body thread underbody the length of the shank. Diamond thread is semi-transparent, so this underbody decides the final colour of the fly.
Wrap the green sparkle Diamond Body Thread forward in tight touching turns to the 70% mark.
Dub a small olive Mad Rabbit thorax behind the bead to give the front of the fly some texture against the slick body.
Tie in a grey partridge feather by the tip and take one and a half turns behind the bead, sweeping the barbs back.
Whip finish. Fish it in murky or algae-stained water where a flash of green cuts through, or as a general attractor any time of year.
