Materials
- Tail Golden pheasant crest (small)
- Body Flat silver tinsel (smooth)
- Throat White bucktail (sparse)
- Wing Purple saddles over white bucktail (4 feathers)
- Cheeks Jungle cock (1 pair)
How to tie it
- Mount the long streamer hook and run black thread to the bend.
- Tie in a small golden pheasant crest as a tail, curving up.
- Catch in flat silver tinsel and wrap a smooth body forward to just behind the eye, then back and forward for a flawless sheen and tie off.
- Turn the hook and tie in a sparse white bucktail throat under the shank.
- Stack white bucktail on top, then set four purple saddle hackles over it as a slim wing extending to the tail tip.
- Tie a jungle cock eye feather over each side as a cheek, then build a neat head.
- Whip finish and lacquer the head glossy.
