- Hook Dry fly, #10-14
- Thread Yellow 8/0
Materials
- Wing White uni stretch (Calf tail, upright and divided)
- Tail Brown permanent marker (Bucktail or moose fibers)
- Body Gold/yellow material (Floss)
- Hackle Brown hackle (2 feathers)
How to tie it
- Start thread one-third back from the eye.
- Tie in a white calf tail wing, divide into two, and post upright.
- Tie in a brown bucktail tail extending about one hook length past the bend.
- Wrap a yellow/gold floss body from the tail base up to the wing.
- Tie in and wrap brown hackle behind and in front of the wings, then tie off.
- Whip finish behind the eye.
