How to tie it
Mount the jig hook, start strong thread and add dumbbell eyes or a bead at the front for a jigging fall if desired.
Wax a long thread loop and load it with long-fibered dubbing, one color on the rear half and a second on the front for a segmented, worm-like look.
Spin the loop tight, stroke the fibers back, then wrap it forward to build a fat, tapered body, re-anchoring (ferruling) the loop as you go for a durable, jointed feel.
Rake and brush out the dubbing into a long, flowing worm tail past the bend.
Figure-8 a rubber leg to each side at the midbody for extra kick if you like.
Build a neat head, whip finish, then trim and shape the dubbing to a tapered rubber-worm silhouette.
