Thread match body (olive, tan, black, white) 6/0 (140 denier)
Materials
Rear tail Strung marabou (1 plume, shank length)
Flash Lateral Scale (few strands each side)
Body Ice Dub (dubbed both sections)
Body hackle MFC barred saddle hackle (1 per section)
Legs Fly enhancer / rubber legs (2 per side)
Connection Senyo Intruder wire + 3D bead (1 loop)
Head Brass bead (4.8 mm)
How to tie it
REAR HOOK: tie in a shank-length marabou tail with a few strands of flash, dub an Ice Dub body, palmer a barred saddle hackle collar, add two rubber legs per side, and whip finish.
FRONT HOOK: connect the rear with Senyo Intruder wire threaded through a 3D bead and lash it down so the joint hinges freely.
Tie in a marabou skirt with flash over the joint, then dub the body forward and palmer another barred hackle collar with rubber legs.
Slide a 4.8 mm brass bead to the eye (the Micro uses a bead instead of the standard Peanut Envy's cone) and secure it.
Whip finish behind the bead and pick out the Ice Dub for a full, buggy profile.
At about two inches, this is the smallest Peanut Envy, so keep every component sparse and in proportion.
