  • Eyes Small double-pupil lead eyes (yellow) (1 pair)
  • Head Natural deer hair (spun)

How to tie it

  1. REAR HOOK: tie in a tail of one cream marabou plume on the bottom and one natural grizzly plume on top, then tie in the gold wire rib.
  2. Dub a UV tan Ice Dub body, palmer a grizzly-variant hackle over it, then counter-wrap the gold rib forward to lock the hackle in; add a natural grizzly marabou wing and whip finish.
  3. FRONT HOOK: connect the rear with 19-strand Surflon wire and lash it down for a free hinge.
  4. Repeat the tail/rib/dub/hackle/rib/wing sequence on the front, then splay two hot-tipped Crazy Legs per side.
  5. Lash small yellow double-pupil lead eyes on top so it rides hook-up and jigs.
  6. Spin and pack a natural deer-hair head, whip finish, and trim it flat-bottomed and blocky.
  7. The barred grizzly marabou is the signature of this version. It gives a natural, mottled baitfish look.
