Classic Recipe

  • Hook Daiichi 2460 streamer hooks, #6 (front) and rear, articulated (smallest Dungeon)
  • Thread white GSP GSP 100

Materials

  • Rear tail Cream marabou (bottom) + barred grizzly marabou (top) (1 plume each)
  • Rear body UV Ice Dub (dubbed)
  • Rear hackle Grizzly variant / barred dark ginger rear hackle (1)
  • Rear rib Small gold UTC Ultra Wire (4-5 turns)
  • Rear wing Barred grizzly marabou (1 plume)
  • Connection Surflon micro wire (1 loop)
  • Front body UV Ice Dub (dubbed)
  • Front hackle Grizzly variant / barred dark ginger rear hackle (1)
  • Front wing Barred grizzly marabou (1 plume)
  • Legs Hot-tipped Crazy Legs (2 per side)
  • Eyes Small double-pupil lead eyes (1 pair)
  • Head Natural deer hair (spun small)

How to tie it

  1. REAR HOOK: tie in a two-tone marabou tail (cream under, barred grizzly over) and the gold wire rib.
  2. Dub a UV Ice Dub body, palmer a barred hackle, counter-wrap the rib to lock it, add a barred grizzly wing, and whip finish.
  3. FRONT HOOK: connect the rear with micro wire and lash it down.
  4. Repeat the dub/hackle/wing sequence on the front and splay two hot-tipped Crazy Legs per side.
  5. Lash small double-pupil lead eyes on top for a hook-up jigging ride.
  6. Spin a small deer-hair head, whip finish, and trim it flat and blocky, this is the smallest Dungeon so keep everything sparse.
  7. The barred grizzly profile plus the flat head give a lot of movement in a tiny package.
