How to tie it
Start the white Nano Silk at the return eye of the 2/0 Talon, trim the tag, and lay a base along the straight portion of the shank even with the hook point.
Bind the Golden Pheasant Crest on top with edge-to-edge wraps and add head cement to strengthen it.
Split the thread, wax both sides, and lay Purple Ice Dub in loosely. Double the thread over with a dubbing twister and spin to lock the dubbing, brush it out, then wrap the rear portion of the hook with hackle pliers, pulling the fibres back with your fingers on each turn. Secure, trim the excess and brush out.
Secure a folded Dyed Black Teal by the tip in front of the dubbing, trim, and wrap it edge to edge as a collar. Secure by the stem and trim.
Split the thread again and add the Crosscut Dyed Black Rabbit Strip, twist and spin, brush out, and wrap it in front of the teal with hackle pliers, sweeping the fibres back on each turn. Secure, trim and brush out.
Split and wax the thread, add Florescent Red Ice Dub loosely, spin, brush out, and wrap it in front of the rabbit as a collar, pulling the fibres back. Secure, trim and brush out.
Tie in the folded Dyed Green Heron by the tip, wrap it edge to edge in front of the red dubbing, secure by the stem and trim. Then tie in the folded Dyed Red Guinea Pheasant by the tip, wrap it forward edge to edge, secure, fold the stem back and secure again, trim and brush out.
Split the thread and add the Dyed Pink Finn Racoon strip, spread the fur along the thread, twist, spin and brush out. Wrap it in front of the guinea with hackle pliers, pulling the fibres back, then secure, trim and brush out.
Repeat with the Black Finn Racoon in front of the pink, and then the Purple Finn Racoon in front of the black, brushing each out after wrapping.
Add Olive Crinkle Flash on all four sides by folding each strand around the thread and securing it to the sides. Set a piece of Blue Fox Fur, hide attached, on top of the hook in front of the purple fur and trim the hide flush; set a piece of Orange Fox Fur on the bottom the same way and trim the hide flush.
Secure the folded Teal by the tip in front of the fur, trim, and wrap it edge to edge as a collar. Secure by the stem and trim. Flatten the stems of two grizzly hackle tips and tie them in on top left and right, tie in orange black-barred rubber legs from underneath left and right, then a Jungle Cock eye on each side. Trim, build the thread, whip finish and trim.
Wrap black thread over the white head, build it up, whip finish, trim and add head cement.
