- Hook Standard dry/emerger, down eye, #14-#20

Materials
- Shuck Amber vinyl rib medium (few Antron/Z-lon fibers)
- Body Olive or dun material (fine dubbing)
- Wing/Post White uni stretch (poly yarn or foam, upright)
- Thorax Dun microfibetts (fine dubbing)
- Hackle Grizzly dun hackle (1, parachute (optional))
How to tie it
- Mount the hook and start thread mid-shank.
- Tie in a sparse amber shuck at the bend, half a shank long.
- Dub a slim tapered abdomen forward to the 65% mark.
- Post a short upright wing of white poly (or a foam tab) at the 65% mark and take a few turns at its base to stand it up.
- Dub a small thorax fore and aft of the post, and if desired wind a couple of parachute hackle turns around the base.
- Whip finish at the eye and trim the wing post to a visible nub.
