Classic Recipe

Materials
- Body Black foam strip (folded)
- Legs Black round rubber (2 pairs)
- Wing Black poly or deer (flat)
- Indicator Orange foam (dot)
How to tie it
- Mount the dry hook and run black thread the length of the shank.
- Tie in a black foam strip at the bend, then bind it down at two or three points to form segments, leaving a stub at the rear.
- Set a flat black poly or deer-hair wing over the body, tips to the bend.
- Tie in two pairs of black round rubber legs, splayed to the sides.
- Fold the front of the foam forward over the thorax to build a head, and cap it with a small orange foam sighter dot for visibility.
- Bind everything down, whip finish and varnish the thread.
