Materials
Body Olive/tan heads (fine dubbing)
Wing Brown permanent marker (2 matched hen or partridge tips, tented)
Hackle Ginger/brown hackle (1-2, wound full)
How to tie it
Mount the hook and dub a slim tapered body from the bend forward to the front quarter.
Select two matched hen or partridge feather tips and tie them in as a low tent wing over the back, reaching just past the bend, shiny side out.
Tie in one or two dry-hackle feathers at the wing base.
Wind the hackle in close turns front and back of the wing to make a full, bushy collar that lets the fly sit up and flutter.
Sweep any stray fibers clear of the eye, form a small head, whip finish and cement.
