How to tie it
Put a Gamakatsu SC15 #1 in the vise and lay a base of clear mono thread to just under the hook point.
Tie in a clump of SF fiber (flash blend) about 1.5x the shank length on top of the hook for the spine; clean up the tips.
Over it, tie in 15-25 strands of pearl Flashabou for the lateral line, extending a little past the SF so it forms a flash tail; trim the butts.
Take a few wraps just behind the tie-in to cock the tail upward, then saturate the tail base and spine (at least a shank length) with Liquid Fusion to build a flexible, non-fouling spine.
Tie a clump of Ice Wing Fiber (yellow/pearl) on top, doubled over itself and cut, about the length of the spine.
Flip the fly and tie a clump of pearl (UV-hue / angel hair) on the bottom for the belly the same way, doubled and cut, tapered at the rear.
Run the thread behind the eye, pull all the fibers back, and tie off a head.
